Kabbalistic Amulets: Stories and Secrets from Morocco
Date & Time: Sunday, December 21 | 2:00–3:30 PM EST

This year, I traveled to Morocco for the first time. While wandering through the winding souks of Marrakech, I discovered Jewish amulets scattered throughout the old Medina, each carrying centuries of mysticism, protection, and spiritual meaning. I brought many of these amulets home—and along the way, I learned the mystical meanings they hold:
-
Lilith protection amulets, used for safeguarding mothers and infants
-
Kohen (priestly) blessing amulets, inscribed with ancient words of light
-
Hamsa protections, guarding against the evil eye
-
The feminine name of God, Shaddai, invoked for Divine nourishment
In this class, I’ll share stories from my journey, offer a glimpse into the rich Jewish history of Morocco, and guide you through the symbolic and spiritual significance of these amulets. You’ll also have the chance to see the amulets in person, learn their secrets, and—if you feel called—purchase one to carry its blessing.
Join me on the last day of Chanukah and Rosh Chodesh Tevet for storytelling and Kabbalistic wisdom. This class is open to people of all faiths, and a recording will be available for those who sign up.
